About Us
A small company, never more than five employees and always under the watchful eye of the founder, David Burns. David comes to copper work via a circuitous route that includes automotive repair and racing, coupled with contracting and a love of fine details in architecture. Applying copper to a myriad of products where copper had been little used is now the love of David's shop and studio life. Why copper, you ask, for it's inherent beauty and proven longevity. The patina that develops is rich and will improve with time to be enjoyed by generations.
A lifelong goal to live and work on the same property, in the European tradition, has been realized by David and his wife, Annie. They live in a small gold mining town in the Northern California Sierra Foothills. You are welcome to visit them with an appointment.
